Two areas claim to have opened the first dog parks. One in San Fransico and One in New York City. That was nearly 30 years ago. Now there are almost 700 and people are starting to understand those of us who love our pets desire activities for them just as we do for our children- and a way for them to have fun and be a part of our lives.
Some of the perks for our beloved dogs come with swimming areas, full time attendents for those pets who are having a dog gone bad day and covered areas to sit and watch them play. One in California even has a place to give dogs a bath.
